
Robin Guishard was born and raised in the twin island paradise of St. Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis. After graduating from sixth form of the Basseterre High School, she attended the University of the West Indies at Mona Campus in Jamaica; and then Cave Hill Campus in Barbados, where she graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) degree with second class honors (upper division). During her study for her L.L.B degree, Robin also in 1997 attended the University of Toronto in Canada as an exchange student.
In 1998, she attended the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad where she obtained her Legal Education Certificate (L.E.C.) in 2000. While studying for her L.E.C., Robin interned at the Attorney General's Chambers at Basseterre, St. Kitts. After graduation, she was admitted to practice as a Barrister at Law & Solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, St. Kitts and Nevis Circuits and thereafter entered into private practice. Robin has a varied legal portfolio which includes contentious and non-contentious legal matters, with specialist skills in financial services matters, real estate and citizenship by investment. She is dedicated, hardworking and results oriented.
Robin is also a Notary Public for St. Christopher and Nevis; and a member of the St. Christopher and Nevis Bar Association. She has also served the community as a past member and secretary of the Rotary Club of St. Kitts and Advancement of Children's Foundation; and a director of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). She is currently involved in the community, with a focus on the development and advancement of children and families.
