Robin Guishard was born and raised in the twin island paradise of St. Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis. After graduating from the sixth form of the Basseterre High School, Robin attended the University of the West Indies at Mona Campus in Jamaica and then Cave Hill Campus in Barbados and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) degree with second class honours (upper division) in 1998. During her study for her L.L.B degree, Robin also in 2007 attended the University of Toronto in Canada as an exchange student.
After obtaining her L.L.B, Robin in 1998 attended the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad where she obtained her Legal Education Certificate (L.E.C.) in 2000. While studying for her L.E.C., Robin interned at the Attorney General's Chambers at Basseterre in St. Kitts. After graduation, Robin was admitted to practice as a Barrister at Law & Solicitor of the High Court of Justice at St. Christopher and Nevis. Robin thereafter worked in chambers, before establishing her practice in 2002. Since establishing her practice Robin has focused on a varied legal portfolio which includes contentious and non-contentious legal matters, with specialist skills in financial services matters and citizenship by investment. Robin is dedicated, hard working, results oriented, giving each client one hundred per cent.
Robin is a Notary Public for St. Christopher and Nevis and a member of the St. Christopher and Nevis Bar Association. Robin has also served the community as a past member and secretary of the Rotary Club of St. Kitts and Advancement of Children's Foundation, respectively. Robin is currently involved in the community, with a focus on the development and advancement of children and families.
